Description:

The PM1405 survey meter is compact, lightweight, and ideal for search, detection, and localization of gamma and beta radiation sources. When users are searching sound and light signals intensify proportionally to the radiation rate present. This model has a large GM tube for precise measurement of ambient dose rates of X-ray and gamma radiation ranging from background levels to 100 mSv/hr or 10 R/hr. Estimate the intensity of contaminated surfaces or environmental objects from beta nuclear radiation sources by opening the screen filter and selecting the beta-radiation-flux-density-measurement mode.

This model includes software so users can connect and network up to 300 instruments and control monitoring and information collected from all connected PM1405 devices locally or remotely. The 1405 easily connects to any client or server PC while the software performs uninterrupted transfer of the captured radiation control information.
