Description: |
The 1703M NukeAlert II is very similar to the PalmRAD 1621M; simple to use and full of advanced features and also perfect for the non-technical user. The 1703 offers two critical operation modes the first being a 1 to 9 strength indicator scale for simple analysis and the second mode provides the user exposure rate readings as well as accumulated dose information typical of dosimeters. This 1703M is ideal for monitoring wide areas and clips easily to a utility belt, waist band, or the like. A bright visual display makes hands free use a cinch. Highly shock resistant and watertight construction makes the 1703M great for those that work in adverse environments and the most demanding emergency response fields. Choose discrete vibration or an audible alarm for your radiation alerts. The 1703M has proved to be more sensitive than standard first responder meters and it can record and store up to 1000 incident histories in the non-volatile memory. All data can be easily transmitted to a PC through the IR-channel for processing. |
